Soft-shedder crab is a species of crab caught during the moulting (shedder change) period. It can be eaten without peeling, it is mostly fried, and has a very intense, tasty crab. Put it in spicy flour and then fry it in plenty of hot oil. It can also be prepared on a grill or in the oven.
