Origin: Sri Lanka.
Yellowfin tuna, found in many seas around the world, is a premium quality species. Consumed either raw or heat-processed. Available all year round, its beautiful red meat is very low in fat, so care must be taken during preparation to avoid drying it out. It is recommended to make a crust on the grill at a high temperature for a short time, then rest for a few minutes, so that the center remains nicely pink. We can also fry it in a pan, but avoid baking in the oven!
